Easy to remove and put back in the central container. Good size in general, space saving. I docked a star because the writing on it is starting to wear off in places. Also when filling up for the week, the lids are closer to the pill holder when you open them making it a little more fiddly to fill up. If they came off completely it would be easier. However, it's a great pill holder, good price, compact and I can always write noon, evening etc in them.
