I used to use a locking metal box, but it only had hooks (so keys could fall off if it turned upside down or if I put too many on each hook) and really didn't have enough hooks for my needs. I bought this case to expand the number of key slots there were so that I wouldn't have to double up keys. I also appreciated the snaps to hold the key rings. The case works really well. The only challenge I have is that it's a bit thin, and I wish they had built another inch or so of space. The fact that it has a spot for the card, kind of keys and the key fobs makes this almost perfect. The only thing that I wish it had was RFID protection because whenever I get around the cars they start unlocking.
