Review: Clean, quality, perfect size and outstanding value too. Cannot be faulted. Top marks - I ordered this yesterday (Thursday) after being sent the wrong size elsewhere and it arrived late afternoon (Friday). All of my plants (around 16/17) have just had the compost surface coated with this as it makes the succulent bowls look great and helps to keep down the sciarid flies too. The gravel is the perfect size for the plants, good colour mix and even though I washed it all in a sieve, there was hardly any colouring of the water. Really clean. I'd definitely wash all gravel first before you introduce it to any aquarium though (I always did that as some are absolutely filthy). For the amount of gravel you get in a bag and the price of a bag, it's outstanding quality and price. An easy 11/10. Thank you!

**Q: Can I put this in tank ,washed,with fish already in?**
A: It is possible but it is really fine , I have a four foot aquarium and I do sometimes top up existing sand after a water change

**Q: How big is the gravel? 1mm?**
A: They are very small pieces. One bag is only good for a small area.

**Q: How fine is this sand?**
A: 1 mm - very natural in colour with different hues unlike some white gravel/sand which looks bleached white and uniformed

**Q: Can you use this sand for garden under membrane**
A: Not sure but it’s not really sand it’s more like grit. You could probably get builders sand for cheaper

I ordered this yesterday (Thursday) after being sent the wrong size elsewhere and it arrived late afternoon (Friday). Love this for my aquascape! Since I have a nano tank, I don’t need a lot, and this was just the right amount. The gravel looks natural and really enhances the overall look of the setup. The price is also very reasonable, making it a great choice for smaller tanks. Really happy with it—highly recommend!
