I was afraid the fountain had become garbage. I figured trying to replacement was worth a shot. Was pretty self explanatory, just switch it out with the old one, and it was immediately working like it was brand new again. I hope it lasts longer than 6 months but even if it doesn't I'll probably just order a new pump because my cats love the fountain and are staying better hydrated than every before. And I like that I'm not having to dump out slimey water every day (I have 3 cats). I just wipe it down every time I refill and it's super easy.
