Review: Favorite vaccuum yet - Great vacuum especially for people who shed a lot and have long hair. Other vacuums I’d have to use a seam ripper to remove all the hair that’s been stuck, but this one collects the hair very organized so you can just easily empty it. It folds up really well for easy storage. Not very portable because it’s corded but the cord is pretty long. The suction is strong and loud but gets the job done fast. The light is a plus to know where you’re looking.
Review: Good lightweight vacuum cleaner - What I like most about the vacuum cleaner is that you can switch from hard surfaces to carpet/rug with the touch of a switch. This is a powerful, lightweight vacuum cleaner that does a good job of cleaning. I bought it so I can quickly vacuum the kitchen floor, family room floor and area rug, and hallways in between more thorough cleaning with my more powerful canister vacuum cleaner. The dust cup is easy to remove and empty into a trash can which I could not do with my previous shark rocket. There are 3 things I don't like: the dust cup is very small and requires frequent emptying because of its size; the vacuum is not free standing when not in use so must either be leaned against a wall etc. or laid on the floor; the flexible hose in the base of the machine (floor nozzle) is a weak point. I had to toss my previous Shark because it split and that was the only thing that was wrong with that machine. I was very reluctant to purchase another Shark product because of this and because it has odd sized 'screws' holding the floor nozzle together, so that it cannot be removed by the consumer. I do not want a cordless machine and until someone makes a cordless machine that actually has a decent run time, I will not buy one. Overall, I am very happy with the machine. One note of caution: I purchased this machine at a great price, at least so I thought. I NEVER purchase extended warranties except for major appliances. Somehow, I don't know how, but I was charged for a 5 year warranty which I did not authorize so it was sneakily added on. When I read the warranty limitations, it is doubtful that if the machine fails, the manufacturer will honor the warranty because it's basically for manufacturing defects and not wear/tear of the vacuum cleaner. I was charged $40.96 for a warranty. I looked at desertcart's warranty and it seems their warranty is only for 3 years maximum. I believe Shark added the warranty because I believe I purchased from the Shark store.......so buyer beware.

**Q: Is this vacuum safe to use of luxury vinyl flooring (plank)**
A: Yes I use it several times a week on my luxury vinyl.  Look it up ashleyturtle; its a very common flooring today

A: Just received mine today and yes it works great vacuuming underneath furniture. This was a great purchase

**Q: I am tiny and weigh 90#.  Will it be difficult for me to push around?**
A: The weight listed says 9 lbs, not 90 lbs.  It’s one of the lightest vacuums you can find.  These feel a little different at first, because most of us are used to vacuums with all the weight at the bottom.  This has a bit more weight at the top, but for me, once I adjusted how I pushed it a bit and got used to it, it feels fine.  I find I stand a little further away from it than I did with a “regular” upright vacuum, and if feels more natural to my wrist.

Great vacuum especially for people who shed a lot and have long hair. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice Machine

After a back injury I could no longer carry my big, expensive, fancy vacuum up and down the stairs. I replaced it with this stick vacuum and I've been very pleased. This Shark is easy to maneuver and carry up and down stairs. My house is primarily wood floors and a few low pile rugs; this vacuum has ample suction for this situration, but does not have close to the power of my old monster. I've had this Shark for a couple of years now and as long as I keep it emptied and the filters clearn, it is still running strong. If I had carpeting or thicker pile rugs, I might not be as happy with it. Two things I will look for next time is a stick vac that stands on its own and has a light on the attachment section of the vacuum.
