Papermate usually makes good pens, this particular model of pen writes really well and what I like about this particular pen is that my mother bought me a pen like this ten years ago and it still writes after sitting on my desk for ten + years. I am not exaggerating my mother bought me two pens like this in the late 90's, I took one to school and lost it the other just sat on my desk and I scribbled with it just recently and it writes after all these years. Just to let you know, this pen has a pen cap, this is not the pen that clicks and has a tip hiding in the chamber. As I said in other reviews the good stuff stays at home.
