We used to use the more "open" mesh laundry bags until we purchased these- (with the old ones, every now and then, the bra hooks would get caught on/in them.) I feel like the delicate wash will be better protected. And most undergarments are an expensive investment. Sad to say they often cost more than what you wear on the outside, LOL. We are looking forward to using the bigger bags - they will be great for sweaters or blouses with lace or delicate trimmings! Was a very good Christmas gift. **Q: I just received these, and the inside is not very soft. I use mine for soft knits, and these would cause pills. I dry my clothes if not on a line or flat, on low temperature.The larger bags due to the mesh density and flat construction do not allow everything in them to dry on low temperature in 40 minutes, as they typically do.I live in an apartment so its the laundry room where time is money that I launder. Therefore, at the end, I had to use my hang dryers to remove any dampness--some of which was substantial, before finishing my laundry.I've used laundry bags for years. Usually they are more "3D" in construction and in a more open weave. This allows movement of the clothes so only heavy socks are slightly damp.With these bags, my undies were damp - 2/3 of them had to be line dried before putting away.The socks were mainly damp--all had to be allowed to dry after removing them from the bags before folding and putting away.Therefore, the larger bags are a waste of money. Using the small bags with gentle heat works but the larger bags cannot be filled with bras and panties to ensure they actually dry after 40 minutes in a half filled dryer.The construction is good but the design is lacking for the purpose.One shouldn't have to "burn" their clothes to assure they dry. Linens, towels & bath mats obviously need high heat and longer times to dry. Shrinking clothes in scorching heat to ensure they dry and avoid mildew guarantees a large budget for clothes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Good product! *by W***O on Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2016* These are very well made. I have used them multiple times and they seem to be holding up well. The fabric is a fairly dense weave, as far as lingerie bags go, so you really don't have to worry about anything catching on any delicate fabric right through the bag. The seams seem quite strong, and the zipper is good. The zipper pull can be tucked into a little pocket at the end, so it won't accidentally get pulled opened or catch on anything itself. (Not that there would be much risk of that, the zipper pull is smooth.) The large ones are big enough to put a sweater in, which honestly I wouldn't have thought of. (I have always just used bags like these for bras, so the fasteners wouldn't catch on anything, and the bras wouldn't get too misshapen.) Please know that I bought these on my own, and nobody gave me anything for free in return for a review. I HATE it when all the reviews I see are from people who got something for free! Yes, they have, they are fantastic laundry bags! They come in multiple sizes and last! I've used the same bag for my personal items since June and the bag is still in excellent condition! I used one of the black bags twice now and the black has not ran onto any of the clothes.I have not used these bags to dry any of the clothes I have washed because what I place in these bags I wouldn't normally dry.I would not hesitate to purchase these particular bags again if ever needed and would recommend these to my family and friends.The zipper has a tab it slides into so you won't hear it clinking in the washer.
