I don't think anyone is excited about having to wear reading glasses, particularly half-lens ones. Never in my life did I desire to dress like Ebenezer Scrooge. However, my near vision is the only part that deteriorating at a distance within a couple feet. I have several pairs of full-lens glasses, but it gets annoying removing them to look at anything that's farther than right in front of me.
