Eilleen Mueller has done a fabulous job of creating a world easy to visualize, as part of the storyline instead of separate from it, making this series very easy to read. The characters, twists and turns, and epic proportions of the story keep the reader engaged, waiting to find out what happens next! Make sure you shower first and have a few free days when you start this series, because you WILL NOT be able to put it down!! The first book in the series seemed a little slow at the beginning of the first book, but then the paced changed and continued to improve through the other books. Throughout each book, I enjoyed the descriptive world building and the detailed character development. If you are looking for a fun, nice paced read, which includes dragons, magic and well done twists and turns throughout, I recommend the first three books (in order due to character building/reveal details).
