It's ready to be given as a gift right out of the Amazon box.Con: The detail work on the crucifix is pretty decent, but the metal used is very lightweight and doesn't feel like it is very high quality. Also the space in between decades could be a bit longer; sometimes it's difficult to feel when a decade ends and I have to open my eyes to check.I would gladly play $12-15 USD for this rosary and use it as a backup.
