This valve was a perfect fit. My water softener first filled with water and I could see it was leaking at the valve. I thought it was a washer, but two new ones did not fix the leak. I then noticed that there was a pinhole leak in the bottom or the valve body and I could see a hairline crack in the bottom that I had not noticed previously.
