Great pump
Absolutely wonderful pump. Works great better than name brand ones. Had one previously but got damaged so we actively replaced it with the same one

Dead air
This worked great for the 30 seconds it was alive. I bought it last September to inflate my Sea Eagle 330 but didn’t but the kayak in at the end of the season so the pump sat on a closet shelf. I pulled it out today and plugged it in...it came right on and worked great. When I turned it off after about 30 seconds, it would not start again. Very disappointing. Fortunately, I had a foot pump back up.

Poor quality
I have had two of these break on me. The first the plug into the car broke and the second one started smoking on me during use so I threw it away for my own safety. The boats they make are great but the pumps are bad. The foot pump works better anyway.

Does the job
Despite reading reviews that this product breaks after a few uses, I've been using the pump every other week for the last two months and all seems to be working as expected. I would not recommend leaving the pump unattended, as I could see the motor burning out if you left it the pump running past its "pumping" pressure (you'll hear a pitch change in the motor when it's done doing all the pumping it can). You will still need to pressurize a boat with a manual or hand pump after the electric pump has filled the boat to its capacity.

Faster than expected.
Does the job quickly and efficiently. So quickly that you should use caution not to overinflate.

Poor quality
This pump stops working after a few weeks. Amazon kindly replaced my first pump with another one of the same model. I was very pleased thinking that it was an one-off. After a couple of times using the second pump, it also stopped working. Very frustrating poor quality product.

Saves a Little Time but you Still Need the Foot Pump
The pump saves time, however it does not fill the boat to the appropriate pressure. You still have to use the foot pump. Each chamber only needs two or three pumps though. So it saves time, but it does not completely replace the foot pump. If you're blowing fuses you should note that the pump uses 30 amps. If your lighter socket doesn't support 30 amps or more, the pump will blow your fuse.
