It has an orange scent but it doesn't stick around long. It smells like olive oil after application--and that sticks around for a bit. The product can make your hair excessively oily if you aren't careful. The pump is difficult to use...it seems to stick, so if I wanted only half a pump, that is just not going to happen. I have used other products that I think are better and won't purchase this one again.*UPDATE* I am downgrading my review by 2 stars to one because the more I use it, the more I can't stand the oily smell it leaves after I put it on my hair. It lingers until I shampoo. Plus, I still can't get the pump to cooperate and can't use only half a pump so my hair isn't oily/greasy. This is fine for a weekend conditioning, with a shampoo after because of the smell, but I won't be using this anymore as part of my regular styling routine. Even my face is oily, ugh! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Not Sold *by K***S on Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2017* I've been using this product for almost a week and honestly don't see much of a change. I get the orang essence smell when first applied but it disappears quickly. I agree with other customers that there is a rancid oil smell, but I found this to be the case when too much was used. Which brings me to the amount to use. Yes, a little goes a long way. If you use too much, your hair will be greasy and lifeless not to mention that you just have an all over oily feeling until your next shampooing. I encourage Nordic Bliss to re-engineer the pump. It is not easy to use and you either get too little with one pump or too much with two. There was not an issue with the condition of the product when it arrived. It was nearly packed and the lid taped.
