Machined nicely. Looks great. Rod seem light weight, but it should last. Asked manufacturer (seller) about getting spare rods and have yet to hear back. That is not so good. Not much room for tinder-- will use cotton and Vaseline. Overall view is that this is a good product, but don't be he-woman or he-man with it. Treat it like a tool and it should last awhile.
