I have used the traditional rigid traps for years,but this new Soonhua trap is a far better design. First, it has 6 openings located equally around the trap. I've watched crawdads trying to find their way into old style traps with only 2 openings. You will catch more crawdads with this new trap! I used to haul a dozen rigid traps, with extensions, out in my boat, they took up so much room, and they nearly filled the back of my pick up. The Soonhua traps literally fold flat! A dozen will fit into a grocery bag, HUGE advantage!
