Worked awesome, only popped the breaker once. 100% would buy again. One thing about the directions, they have you install the blade backward, as if the saw was cutting toward you. It does not, obviously, it cuts away.

**Q: How do you get 3200 watts out of a 15 amps. 115 saw?  would it be more like 1800 watts?**
A: Chinese math....hopefully the same mathematician is working on their space program and nuclear weapons.

**Q: 3200 watts is the starting watts?  The running watts (15A X 120V) would be 1800 watts?**
A: Supposedly.  It draws way more than stated. Had to use 6500w generator , then it ran fine.

**Q: does this have a soft start?**
A: No, it doesn’t.   Mine has been a great saw.   I used it to make all the cuts on a stone house. So much more dependable than a gas cut off saw.

**Q: Has anyone tried using this saw on a generator? If so, what size generator and was it able to handle the load?**
A: You need a minimum of 15 amps to struggle through, 20 amps for normal operation.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good product for the price

Bought this to cut my 8” poured concrete foundation to install four egress windows. Works well but you need to go slow. The motor claims to be 3200w which is almost 27 amps - I was skeptical at first but now I’m a believer. If you load the motor down too much it *will* pull more than 20 amps. I tripped my 20 amp breaker many times to get though the job. There is a red light on the handle which blinks when the motor is getting loaded (I think - the documentation says nothing about the purpose of this light) to give you some warning. Keep the cutting slow and you can go a good while before tripping the breaker. Needless to say a 20 amp circuit and 12 gauge extension cord is a must. I ran a temporary 20 amp circuit with a high quality 20 amp outlet just to run this saw and still tripped the breaker several times. A hose shutoff valve is a must but it does not come with one. Order one with the saw if you don’t have one. You’ll thank me later. The tube that connects to the guard also does not come with a hose clamp and can slip off while cutting. I put a hose clamp on it and it was fine thereafter. The saw is also damn heavy which makes sawing vertical surfaces a workout (and more likely to overload the motor because you naturally want to rest it against the wall). Much better than renting because you can take your time and do the job on your schedule. As mentioned, the documentation sucks but that’s typical for a Chinese product. Some have noted that the guard is cheap, which is true, but it gets the job done. Definitely worth the price for the occasional DIY user. I would be cautious if you intend to use it professionally.
