Like: I like this candle holder. This one is essentially one color although there is a small area where the alabaster starts to darken. Dislike: the very bottom of the candle holder has an area where the alabaster looks as if it's crazed. It's not broken or chipped, it's just that the natural rock has non-uniform structure. It's hardly noticeable. There are a few other imperfections. One is the hole where the candle goes is off center to the center of the candle holder. It's hardly noticeable. The outside rim of the candleholder looks as if whoever was polishing the stone left the stone on the grinder/wheel a wee bit too long. The lip of the candle holder isn't round. Overall impression is the candle holder should last a long time. It's not bad, it's not great. It's a nice functional candle holder that has a lot of charm.
