That other thermal paste was too thick and actually glued itself to the cover of the peltier and ripped the cover off the peltier as I was trying to take it apart. Then, the wire came out of the peltier. Oooooh NO! So since the peltier was opened up, I figured I'd try cleaning it up on the inside using electrical cleaner and brush to clean out all those tiny little metal squares, I soldered the wire back into the corner and closed it up. It's a tiny little square flat pancake that generates electricity to turn the fan motor (so cool). I put this paste around top and bottom of both peltiers (this fan has two of them), put it all back together and Eureka! It actually worked and fan's been working great all week. It runs like new, blows a lot of hot air, and is so pretty with brass blades. This paste works great and was referred by a "how to fix your wood stove fan" you tube video, plus I have half a tube left. Buy it!! Good Stuff!
