**Q: Can this resist acrylic paint?**
A: I don't know I did not use it for that I was protecting documents and maps for a public sale

**Q: Is this product fda approved? i need to lay fondant on these sheets. if not, can you provide a link to one of your products that is food safe?**
A: No, our Dura-Lar Film isn’t FDA approved. However, our Acetate Film is a Food Safe Grade Film; visit our product page to learn more about this film https://www.grafixarts.com/products/acetate-film/. **Q: can it be used for indoor storm windows**
A: Mylar is the best of all storm window plastics because it is so clear, but you must use it on the inside of the window if you expect it to last more than a couple years, because glass will block the UV, which would destroy the plastic outside. You can use anywhere from about .003 to .005 for storm windows, and you do need a good quality double stick tape to stretch it and hold it on.
