I checked out numerous ones on different sites. Of course, you can find almost anything here, so I checked out the ones offered. After reading specifications, descriptions, and reviews, I decided to try this one. I have naturally wavy hair, but don't want to blow dry each time I wash it. Using a flat iron also takes a toll, so I wanted to see if the straightening brush would do what I wanted. I can wash, let it dry naturally, and use this brush to straighten it without as much damage. It works just like it says it does. Oh, and the heat glove is brilliant. I use it to touch up my hair after using flat iron at the end of the day, or the next day. I'm pretty happy with this purchase-- it looks really good and gets my hair straight in a really intuitive way. I did find the controls a bit confusing, but once you get that set it is easy to use.
