Individually packaged for hygiene, it supports both primary and secondary dressing needs while minimizing skin irritation and maceration. ## Description Areza Medical Island Wound Dressing may be used as a primary dressing as its central pad may be placed directly on the wound’s surface. Areza Medical Island Wound Dressing may be used as a secondary dressing to secure another primary dressing (which is directly on the wound) in place. To reduce the risk of skin damage, apply a skin protectant (spray or pad) to normal, healthy skin around the wound where the adhesive layer is to land, before using Island Wound Dressing. To reduce the risk of skin damage during removal, medical adhesive remover applied directly to the skin at the edge of and under the adhesive layer is highly recommended for an easier removal of the dressing. Bordered gauze at 6” x 6” (15cm x 15cm) with a 4” x 4” central pad that is easy to change and much better than simple gauze and tape with a water resistant outer layer. Sterile, individually packaged and Latex Free. Our bordered gauze is packaged individually in easy to open packages to keep them fresh, sterile and ready for use. ## Features - The package contains 20 individually packed sterile dressings. I have ringworm on my upper arm in various spots, before finding these 6x8" bandages (4x6 gauze within the adhesive) I was using a patchwork of multiple small bandages (the biggest I could find in stores were 3x4- so only ~1x2 gauze within the adhesive) and they kept falling off.These have stayed in place perfectly, even in the shower.
