Her hair is straight but she usually showers before bed and sleeping on her wet hair gives her some waves and bends. It takes only a few minutes to pull this brush through her hair to make it sleek. The one star was removed because my fingers are continually changing the temp because of where the buttons are on the grip. I have lots of fine hair with a little wave to it. It straightens my hair well.
