Review: Great fan with a lot of functionality - I would give this 10 stars if I could. So far I've only set it up in the living room and tested the functions, but it is an amazing product with loads of functionality. I'm using this fan to ventilate a crawl space. I went with this product for the App functions as I wanted to avoid pulling in moist air on humid days. With the controller I can set the fan to only cut on when outside humidity is low. It can also be used for high humidity days if you were using it to vent a greenhouse for example. I've also set the temperature parameters so it will cut off if temps fall below 40. It has 10 speed settings for the fan but even at 10 the fan is not loud at all. I have full control through the App, the controller unit is connected to the wifi so I don't have to get down in the crawlspace to adjust anything. I will follow up with install pics and performance feedback but as of now, I could not be happier. When the fan is not running the shutters stay closed to keep out critters and cold air. I expect drastic changes in the crawl space humidity while I address water ingress issues on the exterior. I tried a 120 pint a day dehumidifier that didn't touch the humidity levels. Taking advantage of dry air days outside should make a huge impact in the crawl space humidity levels. This thing moves some air.
Review: Night cooling for the whole house - We have an operable skylight in the second floor ceiling with a screen, an ideal place to install a vent fan. The 14" was the largest that would fit. I built a mounting frame out of 2 x 3s with plexiglas panels to keep the air from backflowing where the fan didn't cover the skylight opening. The fan is tilted about 25 degrees up from horizontal (the roof slope). We use it at night when it gets hotter than 90 F outside during the previous day, are able to cool the house down to the low 60s in the morning. So far this summer have been able to avoid using the A/C, saving $$ on electricity. Our house is 1800 sq ft. The temperature control prevents it from over-cooling the house. The fan is in a room next to our bedroom, and we can hear it, but it's not an unpleasant sound (kind of white noise) and doesn't interfere with sleep. The display is easy to read, and the controls have a lot of options and are easy to use. We run it full speed, when speed gets 60% or lower the louvers don't open fully and can chatter. If the louvers had an actuator to open fully anytime the fan is on, it would make the speed control more useful. Also for installs in living areas where it will be seen, it would be better if it came in white. Highly recommended.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this unit (airlift t14) fit between standard 16"-on-center wall studs?**
A: "Possibly" is unfortunately the only answer to this question.  Perfectly spaced studs that are precisely 1.5" wide will leave 14.5" between them. My fan needed closer to 14.75", but my studs were not precisely spaced and it fit perfectly.  Chances are you could chisel out a bit of the stud to make room, but if your studs are imprecisely mounted closer than 16" on center it could be problematic.  Unfortunately you can't really tell until you expose your studs.

**Q: S14 and t14 to same controller**
A: Believe the only difference between the S14 and T14 is the controller. The T14 comes with the nicer digital controller. So if your looking to add a S14 to either your T14 controller or AC controller 67 it should work just fine. I currently have a S14 plugged into a controller 67.

**Q: Comparing T12 &T14 diagrams fan cages are same same size 13.11, suggesting minimum cut out size?  I have 14.5 between studs**
A: I don't think the cage sizes are the same.  It's about 2", so T12 would be about 14".

**Q: Can I add the S14 to a T10 system which shows that it can drive 2 fans from one controller?**
A: I have two fans running on one variable speed control that’s run off of a temp control. They are working fine.
