## Questions & Answers

**Q: If this item weighs 11 pounds, why is the shipping weight 49 lbs?  Do they pack the fan in 3 other fans?**
A: I have no idea why it says 49 lbs. the fan actually weighs 10 1/2 lbs. Del Mar ships for free anyway so it's immaterial.

**Q: What is the CFM (s) on this fan???**
A: The CFM is 2497. I bought two of them for under a solid roof patio cover. They aren't the strongest for pushing air but they do the job nicely. They are extremely well built, look great  and so quiet you don't even know they are on. We have a chandelier so I couldn't use a regular ceiling fan. I'd buy them again.  Hope that helps.

**Q: Could this be used as ceiling mount instead of wall mount?**
A: The C mount is afixed at an angle, so if you mounted to the ceiling it would not point straight down.

**Q: Can this be hard wired**
A: Yes.  I just remodeled my kitchen and the contractor hard wired the fan so I can activate the oscillating feature and 3 fan speeds from a switch.
