The original PSU was rubbish, but I replaced with a better quality unit and the Stirrer has been working fine since. There are no electrical details specified on the outside of the stirrer casing, but the PSU is rated at 9V, 700mA, providing 6W max. - say 5W max. operating power. Maximum consumption over 24hr will therefore be 120Wh (assuming the unit is rated for continuous operation). I have operated the unit for up to 3 days without any signs of overheating at the unit or the PSU. Running cost at 32.79p per kWh? I make it approx. 4p/day! BCH **Q: What exactly in the box?
