Nice and hot
I just bought this for the second time and wanted to take a minute to review. One container of this lasted me a month or two (in the fridge), and I've found I really like having it around. This is perfect to add to Kimchi, stir-fried veggy's, when cooking lentils or other beans, and also in a broth for Pho noodles. In my opinion, it has a good amount of heat and a little goes a long way. Would recommend this to anyone that likes spicy or hot food.

Classic Paste, Really Good
The paste is not what I would call extreme spicy hot, but it's pretty spicy and certainly delicious. The paste is quite thick (as it should be) with a consistency similar to tomato paste. There is a good amount of salt, so it might pay to take that into account when using it. The sauce dilutes well in water or other liquids making it easy to use in a recipe. I will buy it again without a doubt

Has some decent heat when i use it for some stir fry. Usually mix this with the oil for a minute to heat it up with some garlic then throw in the forzen vegetables then hit it with some noodles at the end. It has some decent heat but mild if you are used to it.

Great gochujang, but buy at the store if you can!
Flavor and spice is perfect! Only downside is that it’s about 2x the price I pay at the grocery store.

Great heat addition to food
Used this is a "pepper mash" my husband concocted. Spread it on thin steak for beef jerky, consumed in a flash! This is my hubby go to addition to most any dish, chicken wings, adds it to soup. The flip top canister is great, no fumbling with small jar openings. If you like "take your breath away" heat, this should do the trick. Has a red base and spoons like tomato paste.

Perfect heat for a perfect dish
I love spicy pork and that's what I use this for. It packs a punch so use it sparingly but worth the money. SO good

Not HOT
I expected Hellfire and damnation but what I got was some hot chili pepper heat. I like hot stuff but not Dave's Insanity hot. I like to taste the flavor along with the heat. I thought this little tub would last me a long time but it's going fast. I can add a rounded tea spoon of this to a bowl of Ramen noodle soup and it's kinda hot but mostly it just turns it red/orange. I can't read Chinese but I suspect it has a bunch if red food coloring in it. The ingredients in English only list Red Pepper Powder as the only.thing red.I'll try something else next time.
