Review: Review of NO-OX-ID A-Special- - Performed as intended even in warm and cold weather. ^w^ Great value for the money. :3 Quality is also very good 4 intended applications such as car terminals or socket connectors. :3 TIPs: Make sure all power it cut off from what ever your working on with this stuff, Warm product up to around 21~26°C(70~80°F) before using it, Wear disposable gloves before using it, Have painter's tape ready and applied 2 surface of wat ever UR working on so when UR done U peal away the tape so no shorts happen(google did say its non conductive but its better to be safe than sawry later). :3
Review: Helped Prevent Corrision on 027 Train Track - It worked as rust prevention on Lionel 027 electric train track. The top of the rails were cleaned as well as all of the train wheels. A light coating was applied to the top all the track rails with my my finger. The excess was wiped of with a paper towel. The train ran much smoother than before at a reduced voltage with no sparks from time to time. The train engine has steel wheels. I'm not sure how well it would work with traction wheels.

**Q: Is the grease electrically conductive?  A review says it is not.**
A: Electrical contact grease is conductive in *film* form; it is used to provide a thin protective film over an electrical primary conductor, not be that conductor itself. One or more reviewers have misunderstood the purpose and behavior of electrical contact grease and have thus written erroneous reviews. If you just stick the electrodes of a multimeter into a tub of this, you won't register anything; if you finely coat the electrodes in this grease and then perform a resistance test between the electrodes, you will find that you still have zero resistance because the grease in film form does not inhibit conduction.

**Q: What's the difference between this and much-cheaper dielectric silicone tune-up grease?**
A: No-Ox-Id = conductor.  Dielectric grease = insulator.

**Q: Can this be used for a ground wire with ring connector that bolts to chassis to prevent rust on the chassis and still provide a proper ground?**
A: Yes, absolutely! I used this for this exact purpose on my personal vehicle on Saturday; I had to grind my frame a bit to get the metal down to a clean, bare surface, then applied a very thin film of this over the cleaned section and then bolted on my main frame ground ring terminal (to which I'd also applied a thin film of this) and it works perfectly.

**Q: can i use this products to put on tracks and wheels to store them from rusting? ty**
A: Sure can! Doesn't tack much either. Just a thin film wiped on.

This stuff is amazing! I saw its use recommended on a model train video for getting the best conductivity on the tracks. And this stuff doesn't disappoint! It works amazingly well. My German steam locomotives used to stop-and-start or stutter on areas of the track and that doesn't happen anymore. I used my fingertip to spread it around the rails. you'll want to make sure clean any excess on the inclines or your locomotive tires will spin when you add cars to it. I can't recommend this enough!
