It doesn't add a lot of weight or too much thickness, but it does add a tiny amount of bulk in the corners and along the edges for shock protection. Still, being a slim style case, protection from a high fall will be limited. The case overall is pretty good. It fits the phone well and has cutouts in the right spots for the camera and buttons.One thing I didn't like was the manufacturer's large logo in the back and center of the case in bright white color. It's a little much for a phone case. I like my cases to be elegant and the giant logo takes away from the looks of the case. Also, this case is also priced pretty high. It was easy to put on and I liked the color. You will definitely need a stern protector on your phone as the case only protects the sides and the back. The buttons for the volume, and power responded well. There is an opening for the silent toggle switch. The case is lightweight but has a harder backing to it which I liked as it offers a little more protection. Although this case is attractive and lightweight I only gave it 4 stars as the bottom of the case for the earphone and charging ports were completely open. I would rather prefer having something with more protection there. When I compare it to other cases, this case feels more durable and able to withstand more of an impact, although it doesn't have a covered face, so you would have to purchase a strong screen protector. It is slim and lightweight yet still seems as if it would protect the impact of a fall. It fits my phone well and has cutouts in the right spots for the camera and buttons. I ordered the black color and to be honest it is a little faded looking, almost like a charcoal gray, which is why I knocked one star off. The color on the picture actually represents it pretty accurately, but my fault, I figured the photo was wrong for the black one since it does look more like a grayish color online. I am happy that the company offers a one year warranty, which is great customer service and should give you the confidence to purchase since you really have nothing to lose.
