One also had a crack in the side. These ones arrived all bright and crisp white. The slipped right into the swimmers and we're the right size for a perfect fit. They have just enough weight to sink comfortably into the skimmer with no gaps around the edges for debris to slip through. They're super easy to install by removing the skimmer cover and dropping them in. I suspect they'll last a long time. My only gripe is with the shipping. Each unit ships in a plastic bag within a typical, large desertcart box. Unfortunately, the box is a bit too large and the basket jostles around a bit too much. Unfortunately, one of the basket's handle broke, but I just pulled one off an old basket and the problem was solved.
