Will it throw alarm codes?** A: These heaters are probably not the best choice for vehicles, although technically these TPS series heaters can be used for any vehicle if 5/8" ID heater hoses can be used, and IF the hoses can be routed properly, so the thermo-siphon process can cause proper circulation. However, these are better suited for generator sets or off-road engines that have much easier access and better mounting options. There is a TPS101T8-000 (Notice the "G" for Generator is missing). They have a "Y" pipe adapter for vehicle installation into the vehicles existing heater hose. There is no way to know if there will be any alarm codes...
