I have several buildings blocking me and I am on a lower level to the ground. The 5G signal is excellent here, so I figured I would try to this in order to stabilize my picture, at least. Contrary to other parts of CT, my local channels are the NYC and NJ channels. On the cheapest cable - I get them all, but cable is too costly and I don't really watch TV much, so I deal with off-air, which has the best picture quality, followed by satellite, then cable. Aside from 'straggler' channels like WE, Story Channel (A good "History" Channel sub), PBS and the Spanish-speaking channels, the main channels that I wanted to tune in were channels 2, 5 and 4 - since they show NFL games. I used to have one yagi style antenna which would bring in 2 depending upon circumstances (unknown to me), then I bought some rectangular, fancy looking one that brought in more channels and stabilized the picture better. Still, 2 would come in, but disappear at times - especially when the antenna was moved. 55 always came in since it is on Long Island. I bought this device and it DID stabilize the channels easily tuned in and brought in a few more. It also brought in 2 AND 4. The problem was, I had to adjust the antenna JUST RIGHT in order to get them both in at the same time. Otherwise, I can only get one or the other. Of course - I chose 2 since they offer more NFL games, plus CBS has the best HD transmission. I get those plus their sub channels, or I went from 9 or 14 channels to a solid 19 channels. I am sure that if I were a little hired, I would get more in. I know that there are a few that I used to get that are missing. All in all, for the price, it did SOMETHING - just not anything major, but getting 2 to watch the NFL is worth the price. Others may have better results given your location. I am sure that if I were a couple of floors higher, I would get 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11,13 etc. and their sub channels.
