It leaves my beard feeling noticeably softer and healthier. The texture is really like whipped butter, and it has a nice subtle scent. I really like using beard butter as it doesn't have an oily feel to it like beard balms do. An added bonus is it seems to keep any scraggly unruly hairs in check so it can be used to groom your beard as well. 4 stars because the price point for me is unfortunately a little to high for a small container and I can't see myself purchasing again due to that. I have purchased beard shampoo and conditioner before but never bought a leave in conditioner. I usually opt for the oil or balm as my go to option when looking for leave in product. So I got this to try and was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting it to be sticky or to oily but it was neither. I applied a small amount on my palms (about the size of a dime) and rubbed it into my beard. First things, no scent (which is awesome). I have a hard time finding scents that don’t overly annoy me throughout the day and love when something is not scented. After application my hands were a bit oily so I had to clean them. By the time I finished that, I noticed my beard was already dry and did not have any oil residue. After another 15 minutes or so I noticed that it was softer to the touch and easier to manage while combing my beard back. The only downside I noticed was that it did not seem to last throughout the whole day. Not a huge issue, but I am used to having the oil / balm in all the way through my work day. When I got home I washed my face and reapplied the conditioner. It actually feels really nice on the skin. I have this for around 4 days now and have been using it consistently. Kind of hooked now and even take it with me to work in case I need to reapply. Beard feels softer, looks nicer and makes me more comfortable during work knowing that I look more groomed. I received this product at a discount to provide an honest review, but I think they may have also snagged me as an ongoing customer.
