When I placed it in cart for checkout I received a drop down ad “additional available accessory”. It was for a lighted tip. When package arrived it was A Kline light tip. When I tried install it the threads on tip and rods were different. Went to Kline and looked at their rods. Combined with cost of light about $100.00. Don’t want that bad they are both going back. **Q: Does the point-tip have an eyelet?** A: I just went and double checked mine because of the two no’s. Mine 100% does have a eyelet on the point. What good would it be if it didn’t have a hole to attach a pull string. **Q: How well do these hold up in a commercial/industrial setting?** A: I do a lot of power wire fishing and this tool does the job, I would highly recommend, only thing is that when you use the threaded tips I would tape them to the rod do you don’t lose them **Q: do they come in a plastic tube?** A: Yes in a tube makes it easy to store when not using. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked perfectly between my attic and 12 foot ceilings downstairs for adding stiff Cat-8 cabling *by J***S on March 27, 2021* This was a very difficult choice as to what kind of feeder to use so I could add some Cat-8 network cabling to my home. I have some 9-foot and 12-foot ceilings. I read through over a hundred different products and reviews to narrow it down to this one. Now, for some scenarios, I might have chosen other types but for what I was faced with, my Cat-8 cabling was very stiff so I knew that a real flexible type of feeding material wouldn't have worked. Yet, if i had something too strong, I might have issues getting it to bend out of an wall cutout exit point. After reading many, many reviews, I chose this one. And I'm so glad I did. Because of it being so sturdy, it has limited flexibility but since it was composed of multiple short extensions that could be screwed on during the pushing/pulling process, it was absolutely perfect. And it was strong enough to easily push the heavy-duty Cat-8 cabling that I purchased. And, it was just flexible enough to receive the cabling through each entry point of the wall outlet cutout area. The other good aspect about having these strong, sturdy rods was that it could push along through the wall's insulation. These rods are skinny yet surprisingly strong. I was amazed. And, finally, in conclusion, it came with a simple plastic storage tube that I use for all its pieces and it stays tucked away for the future. Hope this helps someone in your particular scenario. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Made Running Cable in Attic Possible and Easy *by S***E on March 26, 2019* I put an antenna in my attic in order to receive over-the-air digital TV and needed to run a coaxial cable from the antenna across a bed of blown in loose insulation to a wall about 12 feet away. This rod worked perfectly for me. Ii was stiff enough to reach across the insulation and over a 2 foot drop to the cable sticking out of the wall. I was able to hook the cable and pull it to the antenna. I liked the fact that the rods were in 4 foot lengths.
