Asbestos floor tiles meant we couldn't do any work to level out the not great floor (not without getting a specialist contractor in anyway), this was topped with a waterproof membrane, insulation and an underfloor heating mat - contributing to further unevenness and 'give'. Our engineered board finish looked great but sounded cheap and squeaky. Given the underlying floor conditions I didn't have high hopes for this product, but it has really made a difference. The floor is not silent, but much, much better and I think a few more targeted applications will improve matters even more. There was an instant difference, and the noise has continued to reduce in the weeks following application. And finally, customer service was faultless - it is that which made me want to write this review. It is a small, British company that has done a great job developing a new product and was excellent at providing help and support.
