These are not perfect, but titanium and double wall that can store cold can all day (if prechill in freezer) or drink coffee all morning (again preheat) is perfect. Numb from eegits saying stainless is comparable... steel is NOT titanium it is a false equivalence I can 'taste' stainless steel in my drinks because it has metal smell.

These are not perfect, but titanium and double wall that can store cold can all day (if prechill in freezer) or drink coffee all morning (again preheat) is perfect. Let's admit it, items like this are an extravagant treat once in awhile. I appreciate titanium's strength and light weight. I also like that it is inert and won't affect food quality or taste. The thermal performance of this mug is as advertised, excellent. The ice pack lid is a nice touch, but the regular insulated lid will do fine for most situations. I would like to see a leak proof drinking lid instead of the ice lid. The thermal lids will get very tight while the temperature of closed beverages changes over time. It's pressure change, no biggie. That's why they make silicon jar lid removal pads. Few problems are so great that a little creative thinking won't overcome them.
