One broke some time ago and the company sent me replacement hardware to fix it. That was a pain but I got it done. This week 2 more poles broke (hardware). I am ticked off to have spent all that money for something that hardly lasted a year. Ordered this one (wall mount on the garage) to replace the old one. This one is better in the way the flag "mounts" to the pole. It also has a clever "free wheeling" ball-bearing mechanism to keep the flag from wrapping around the pole. That feature may or may not work here, as we're in a wind belt and I often had to fish the old flag out of the rain gutter with a broom handle, but we'll see. Comes in white or silver and is 5' long (two sections screw together). In my infinite wisdom, I didn't read the description well enough, so I had to order a 2-1/2 x 4' flag to put on this pole.
