Velvety texture and naturally sweet flavor, slightly spicy with soft aroma of garlic and onion. Heat for two minutes. Perfect with all types of pasta (spaghetti, macaroni, fusilli). As the other sauces, the Tomato Olives Sauce is naturally sweet and full-bodied because it is prepared only with sun-ripened tomatoes of Sicily and without added flavoring or preservatives. The saute is prepared at temperatures not too high and with long lead times to allow the sweetness of the onion from Giarratana and the aroma of the red garlic from Nubia to balance the acidity of the tomato and then to enhance the taste of the olives, accurately selected among the best Sicilian cultivars. The sauce is cooked in a special low-pressure pot to preserve the characteristics and natural flavors of the ingredients. Frantoi Cutrera is known for their olive oil. Their farm has been operating olive groves and processing oil and olives since 1906 in South Eastern Sicily. They also offer a wide variety of jams, herbs, and salts all grown in the same region.
