Review: My new favourite pencil - This pencil feels really solid, and the matt finish and the grip feel great. It's the same basic design and build quality as my rOtring rapid PRO which I've had for 15 years, but slimmer and shorter. At first I thought it must be lighter as well, but in fact it's nearly the same (my scales measure 22g vs 23g for the rapid PRO). I think it's because the weight distribution is better, being less back-heavy, so it doesn't feel like it's going to tip backwards out of your fingers. If money was no object, I'd replace all our mechanical pencils with this one.
Review: I can't fault the build quality. - This is my first non-budget mechanical pencil, really impressed by the fit and finish. The blue seems much deeper in person.

**Q: I cannot fill my new rotring 600 0,5mm. is it broken? i have had it in pieces, tried for hours to fill it with new leads, both singly and multiple. i**
A: Re-filling is easy, take of the cap, remove the eraser and insert the new sections of lead.

Problems sometimes arise when very short section are left in the bottom and these can make it difficult for the next section to enter.  When this happens it is possible to insert a section from the end, i.e. where it normally comes out, if you press on the cap.  This will clear the jam and it should work properly once more.

I think its HB - but it doesn't really matter - its the mechanical pencil you are buying.
These are suburb - I use 4 - 2mm is my favourite.
The leads are cheap as chips - just get one of these pencils in you hand!

Very nice pencil, that feels very high quality and durable. Seems to write well and the led doesn’t break easily. I got a green and it’s actually quite striking! I got drawn in by the reviews and whilst it is a good pencil, it’s just that, a pencil. So I would say it is quite expensive which is why I have knocked a star off.
