Works on batteries for sometime and is Rechargeable. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Mostly good *by K***R on May 31, 2026* Slightly out of sync video and audio but otherwise it is good ### ⭐⭐⭐ Lower quality, but lower price *by B***N on January 9, 2022* After the first arrived DOA, Amazon conveniently replaced it for free. The second DVD player works fine, but the Magnavox MTFT754 has several shortcomings. First, the sound is underwhelming. I have not used it in a vehicle, but I question whether it would produce enough sound during some quieter films to hear over road noise. Second, this DVD player doesn't feel very durable, but rather cheaply manufactured. Third, the picture quality is not fantastic. Granted, most people don't buy a portable DVD player to have friends over to watch a football championship, but it's still worth noting. Finally, the motor in the DVD player itself is noisy. I stopped noticing it much once a movie started, but it was annoying at first. This Magnavox does have some good points, though. It comes with both a car charger and a wall charger, and it can run on battery power. It also has a decent remote control, which certainly beats trying to navigate a menu via the buttons on the device. It includes USB and SD card support (neither of which I have tried).
