Excellent Source of Magnesium
I read an excellent book on magnesium deficiencies. The author stated that Ionic Magnesium is the best form to take as a supplement. That was several years ago. I found this product and I’ve really like it. My magnesium levels are excellent and I’ve had no problems taking it. Just make sure you buy the capsules. The liquid is ghastly tasting. Also, storage can be challenging. I used to put them in my pill case, but now keep them in the bottle they came in which is dark blue and store them in a cool dark pantry. In the light, the pill, which is clear, starts to liquify inside the capsule and the pill casing breaks down. When I went to Good State and asked them about it, they told me how to best store them. I suggested they put that on the bottle somewhere. Before I knew how to keep them properly, I was pouring them out of the bottle and keeping them in a plastic baggie. I always found a few pills melting inside and cracked. Even now, I still put them in my pill case but they’re only there for a week and they seem to be doing a lot better than before. After this happens, they feel very oily to the touch which surprised me. Other than the storage, they’re an excellent supplement.

Works, but irritates my stomach too much.
In theory this is the perfect magnesium supplement. But it irritates my stomach/GI too much since it has chloride. Maybe it won't bother other people. Take only 1 at a time and with food.

Capsule vs Liquid
I prefer to take liquid ionic magnesium, however, with my busy lifestyle it just wasn’t conducive. Having the option of a capsule made it easy to add to my daily vitamin and supplement routine. With the liquid there were times I missed taking it but in capsule form I haven’t missed a beat. In addition, the taste of liquid is horrific and you have to mix it in with a little oj to stomach it. With the capsule there is zero taste so works out much better for me. Highly recommend the liquid over the caps though if you can make it work. I used same brand for both liquid and caps and I find the quality of both more than satisfactory over other brands. My doctor also likes this brand and has okayed me switching to caps since the liquid wasn’t totable or guaranteed I’d take it daily like I do with the caps. Hope this helps! Ionic magnesium has been a game changer for me!!

I Feel Good So It Must Be The Same As The Liquid
Having switched from the liquid which any user knows is a very good, highly bio-available product, to this pill form, I was nervous. Having used it now for a few weeks, I can say that, to the best of my knowledge, this is the same bio-available form of Magnesium. I have noticed no difference in how I feel, except for the removal of negative feelings surrounding having to swallow that horrible tasting liquid form. This pill is a wonderful alternative and only costs a little more for taking it in a pill form, when corrected for dose. Good luck in making your choice for a Magnesium product, though I will say that, if you don't use this pill form, you should be using the liquid form, one or the other. A nano form is the very least you can accept if you want health without the laxative effect (with pico being the gold standard, of course).

Like it except for...
Of all the magnesium that I take I do like the Good State. There is one thing though. When I put all my supplements together the magnesium goes empty. I have never had that happen before and don't understand.

Capsules have to stay in the original bottle right up until ready to take!
This is a good quality magnesium supplement; however, please note that these pills have to stay in the bottle they came in up until you’re ready to take them. I usually sort my daily supplements into small plastic containers (with lids) for a month’s use at a time. When I did this, this supplement shrunk inside the capsule, and the powder almost seemed to start to liquify. So now I sort all my supplements, but keep this bottle of magnesium separate and just take out what I need each day.

Great Alternative to Liquid
These capsules are perfect for traveling and for everyday use. Much easier to consume than the bad tasting liquid. Capsules do have a strong flavor, but it’s much more tolerable and over much quicker than drinking a mixed glass of liquid. No after taste as well. Both capsules and liquid are very effective.
