It is dull and won’t split wood worth a damn. I was ready to send it back until I read some reviews that said to sharpen it and it works great so that’s what I did. I also mounted it to a railroad tie. It works great with a 4lb sledge for smaller stuff around 3-4” is diameter. Any bigger and you need a 8lb sledge.
