He would scratch and bite at himself endlessly, and when I brushed him, dry skin would fall off in flakes. I ordered this shampoo because of its natural ingredients, and it's made a HUGE difference on my dog! His fur is much less wiry-feeling and is much softer to the touch. He scratches less, and the dry skin flakes have all but disappeared. I've used it on him twice so far and love it.I also really love the scent--a lot of other dog shampoos are very strong smelling (almost chemically so), but this shampoo has a very light almond/vanilla scent that is very nice. It probably doesn't whiten as much as the old whitening shampoo I used before, but it's definitely worth using just so my pup is less itchy! It smells like almond oil (an included ingredient) and appears to help moisturize my maltipoo's coat. I use this with the conditioner and supplement with Warren London's Hydrating Butter weekly.
