We've purchased a handful of these for various hatches in our floor. We put two on the largest hatch for the engine room and it makes it a breeze to lift off now. They are very well built, comfortable, and very low profile. They look fantastic and should last a long time. Review: Nice latch lift, looks nice easy to install, BUT - This lift ring looks nice and is heavy, so should be durable. UPS is absolutely awful. I hope they go out of business. The one drawback is that no mounting screws are included. For an extra 15 cents (the cost of two SS mounting screws), this would have gotten 5 starts from me. Easier to mount than others I've seen, which is a big reason I bought this one. One hole drilled through will get it flush mounted. UPS is awful. Other products require an area to be routed out to make their lift rings fit. This one does not. Needless to say, I've been very unhappy with my shipping experience. The only difficulty for some may be that no template was included which would be highly helpful in installing. Hardware was not included either. The screws needed are #6 stainless. The install wasn’t difficult after I made the template, drew it out on the fiberglass then cut and rasped out the hole for the mechanism.
