The feel of the material was soft and we thought that these would work great. The elastic on the waist was good-not too stiff or tight, but when we started to pull them up the leg holes were a different story. The elastic in the legs had almost no stretch. We were able to get her feet through and up past her knee. Once we got to the thigh area, the leg openings became too tight. Unless someone is a stick person or has absolutely no fat in the thigh area, these will probably be too tight. I didn't want her to be uncomfortable or to cut-off any circulation in her legs, so we were not able to use these.
