Its V-shaped rear prevents shin injuries, while triple push poles allow heavier loading than typical sleds. Built from durable 11-gauge steel with multiple heavy-duty attachment points, this sled redefines versatility and safety in functional fitness training. ## Description The back of the sled is β€œV” shaped, instead of a usual straight bar, preventing user shins from bashing against the rear bar and enabling users to β€œwalk into the sled” to push the front bar from the rear. The front has three heavy duty attachment β€œU” hooks. The rear also has three hooks, one on each outer edge and one inner mounted on the β€œV” back. The abundance of hooks provides multiple attachment points for straps and harnesses – both at the front or rear. Heavy duty, thick, replaceable skis, each braced by two bolts on the shaft, complement the design. This is a heavy duty, commercial sled, made from 11 gauge steel, 2 x 2.5 inch tubing, weighing 120 lbs – one of the heaviest sleds ever made. Make no mistake, this sled changes everything! Dimensions: Weight 120 Lbs. Length 49 inches. Width 41 inches. Height 40 inches. Frame height from ground 6 inches. Ski length, 10.5 inches, width 6 inches, ski thickness 3/8 inch. Wheel engagement height 20 inches (measured from rear of sled). Minimal assembly required (front wheel insertion and a few bolts to tighten). ## Features - The CoreX Functional Fitness Sled changes everything. The sled has been designed from the ground up for a wide range of functional fitness exercises. It features an integrated, heavy duty, front wheel that engages when the sled’s rear is raised by around 20 inches enabling barrow exercises. If the rear is not raised, it functions the same as a regular sled with the front ski grounded. - The wheel also facilitates better cross country performance acting as a buffer that can barge the front ski over rocks, dips, sticks, etc. - Of course, the sled can be used as a regular sled too with all three skis grounded with the wheel unobtrusively 1 3/4 inches off the ground during regular use. - The front push bar is welded on, making for a secure, raked back design ideal for pushing from the front or rear. Three push poles can be loaded with bumper plates simultaneously, as opposed to the usual two poles for most sleds. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B015D2MGJW | | Color | Blue | | Date First Available | September 14, 2015 | | Item Package Dimensions L x W x H | 50 x 50 x 18 inches | | Manufacturer | CoreX RipFit | | Package Weight | 120 Pounds | ## Images ![CoreX Functional Fitness Gym Sled - Revolutionary Wheel and Ski at Front.V Back - no more hitting shins.
