The colors are not too bright and each bird is very recognizable. The puzzle itself is a challenge for her, but keeps us busy. We work on matching the parts. Matching the pieces to the picture and then finding their place in the actual puzzle. We talk about each of the pretty birds. There is enough detail to keep her mind busy whether she is actively working on the puzzle pieces or just discussing the colors of the birds. But not too much stimuli to make her anxious.
