The one I wanted and ordered was a rechargeable version. You have to charge it when you get it and then it should work for around 8 hours give or take. There are some that just take batteries. But like I said, the one I got was rechargeable. Please read the descriptions carefully to make sure you get the one you want. Also so you know, it DOES NOT come with a charging cable or USB charger. You will have to buy a micro USB cable and charger if you do not have one.
