Plenty gauge steel with a non-stick coating that I believe is more tougher and integrated. It thrives in the oven.3. Probably don't have to, but I butter it. No stick.4. When you put the batter in, however unevenly, you know the pan will somehow make them finish at the same time.5. It almost cleans itself. Nothing sticks. But wash it.
