How is the edge retention** A: Not likely. Most of the chinese knife companies claim to use D2 steel here on Amazon, but most likely 440 equivalent. Still a good deal for the price. **Q: Does it come with a pivot tool?** A: No. Unless specifically included as a set, buying the knife gets you the knife. **Q: Is there a way to fix the blade play?** A: I have zero play in the blade, side-to-side, or up and down. Make sure that the studs are screwed tight though, they can come loose. If they are tight, and you still have wobble, and IF it hasn't been too long, I'd send it back, mine is perfect, yours should be too. Also, make sure that ALL of the tiny allen head screws are tight, that may be what your problem is, I'm sorry I don't know what size that they are though. **Q: does it have bearings in pivot?** A: No bearings or metal washers.
