Which is it?** A: Those are the dimensions of the box. Take away the styrofoam to get to approx. 6 inches. I've already wrapped it or I'd give you better dimensions. **Q: Does the whole globe rotate around when wound up?** A: No only the glass bulb portion. I have a full collection of these & in most cases only the top glass part rotates.
